Save Gandolfo Gardens
Back in 1911 a member of the Moreland Reserve Committee said that “Residents would not get gardens unless they fight for it”….we are in the same situation in 2019
Protect Gandolfo Gardens
During the Upfield Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP) The beautiful Gandolfo Gardens have been allocated as a ‘lay down area’ for trucks and equipment during construction.
The Level Crossing Removal Project has advised Tim Read MP that some trees will have to be cut down to accommodate their heavy equipment. And while they have promised for every tree cut down two will be replanted, it will be 100 years before the trees truly replace the ones that tower above the gardens today.
What’s more, there are a number of alternative areas that could be used, sacrificing the beautiful trees of Gandolfo Gardens is unnecessary and they must be protected at all cost.
