Brunswick Skyrail: Local voices for local issues

I’m pushing for genuine local consultation.

The Victorian Government has released draft plans for the Brunswick Skyrail and Level Crossing Removal Project which will see the Upfield line transformed and affect thousands of Brunswick residents who commute via the Upfield every day.

I remember the sham of a consultation process during the Coburg Level Crossing Removal and am determined to ensure that local voices are heard as this project comes to Brunswick.

You can find some of my concerns with the Government’s draft plan here.

I’ll be hosting a community BBQ to listen to local residents and hear what the Brunswick community needs from the Upfield line. This will allow me to take your concerns straight to Parliament because the Government should listen to local voices on local issues.

You can also share your thoughts with me via the response form and add your name to receive updates on the project.

On top of the photo text reads "Community BBQ & Skyrail Discussion. Share your thoughts on the draft plan with Tim Read, MP for Brunswick. Sunday 13th October, 12pm-2pm Bulleke-bek park"
